Porn Star Sued For Using Friend’s Name
An American woman is suing a former high school classmate who took her name and starred in pornographic movies.
Kristen Syvette Wimberly, 25, is demanding that Lara Madden and film distributor Vivid Entertainment Group stop using or publicising her name.
Madden has appeared in a dozen adult films since adopting Syvette Wimberly as her stage name. The two first met at Kingwood High School in Houston, Texas. According to the lawsuit, they “were friends but eventually that friendship ended due to conflict”. Madden, also 25, began her adult film career in 2004.
